The path I've never taken.

We often think that success and happiness go in the same direction.

A good job, a high salary, social recognition—
we believe that if we achieve these things, happiness will follow.

But as we go through life, we realize that success doesn’t always guarantee happiness.

We often see people who achieve great success, but lose important things along the way—like their health, friendships, or peace of mind.

Some people keep chasing the next goal, never giving themselves time to feel happy.

On the other hand, some live fulfilling lives without extraordinary achievements.
I belong to the second group.

To me, success and happiness are not on the same line.
If success is a result, happiness is a process.

Success is something we feel for a moment when we reach a goal.
But happiness is something we can feel along the way.

In fact, I believe happiness is not the result of success, but what makes success possible.

When I find meaning in what I do and feel grateful for small things, those moments build up and lead to growth.
That’s my way of living.

I’m not chasing big success, but I do feel happiness often.

Instead of setting huge goals and feeling disappointed, I focus on small, meaningful things in daily life.

And somehow, that has created a wide, open path toward happiness inside me.

But if I had the chance to go back,
I would try living a little differently—
being more disciplined, setting bigger goals,
just to experience that kind of success, even for a moment.

Because it’s a path I’ve never taken.
