Ray Kurzweil, a world-renowned futurist and Director of Engineering at Google, predicted that an era where people do not die of aging will begin after 2032.
In early April 2026, he emphasized this outlook again during a talk at the AI conference "HumanX" held in San Francisco.
According to him, we will reach "Lifespan Escape Velocity" around 2032, where the speed of technological advancement surpasses the rate of human aging.
He also expects that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) will arrive by 2029, and this powerful AI will combine with medical technology to dramatically extend human life.
Furthermore, he presented a vision where nanorobots traveling through the bloodstream will destroy cancer cells and repair damaged cells.
Kurzweil claims that by 2045, we will reach the "Singularity," where human intelligence and AI merge completely.
