Among the members of our English class, there are bonds that have grown especially deep, and it was with those precious connections that we shared a year-end gathering.
Even after stepping away from the classroom, we continue to miss one another—so much so that, as another year comes to a close, we are willing to gather just to see familiar faces again.
I believe these are what we call true connections—relationships that endure beyond time and circumstance.
What makes this group special is that we are people who recognize the value of moments like these and choose to hold them dear.
Warm-hearted and deeply attuned to one another, we shared that day not lightly, but with intention.
To the twelve members—including myself—who spent that time together, I send my heartfelt affection.
As we welcome a new year, I quietly wish that this group—rooted in similar environments and stages of life, and common interests, yet rich with distinct individual personalities—will continue to grow into a deeply grounded community.
One that does not stagnate or retreat, but keeps evolving, learning, and moving forward together.
As someone who plays a central role in this gathering, I also reflect on myself.
I hope to remain a source of clear, flowing water—never stagnant—so that from within me may continue to spring freshness and vitality.
May it help quench not only my own thirst, but also nourish the friendships, spirits, and minds of the dear companions around me.
With that hope, I once again reaffirm the meaning and value of this precious circle.
