A friend recently shared beautiful photos of a pair of Great Crested Grebe and their precious eggs.
It inspired me to look through my old KakaoStory posts, where I found photos I had taken long ago of baby grebes being raised at Sihwa Lake.
Sharing those memories brought back a quiet sense of connection and nostalgia.
As I looked through the photos, I also found myself remembering the wonderful people who used to enjoy those moments together with me.
Among them was someone who sadly passed away in a traffic accident at Sihwa Lake.
He was an energetic and cheerful person who always seemed to live five times harder and faster than everyone else.
Looking back now, it almost feels as though he somehow knew his time would come too soon.
