Prejudice. 안드레이 프로쵸크.

A diary entry from 2021.July the 31th.

About three and a half years ago, our society was still struggling to break free from COVID, and this photo was taken before my aneurysm surgery, back when my hair parting was still on the left side.

Until then, I had lived over sixty years convinced that my hair had to be parted on the left—a belief in something so trivial. After the surgery, I was forced to switch it to the right, and to my surprise, I realized that the right parting actually suited me better.

It was such a minor thing, yet it shattered my rigid preconception, making me realize how stubbornly set in my ways I had been.

This small change gave me a new perspective!

We all face varying degrees of rigidity in ourselves and others.
I try to live as flexibly as possible, but even that resolve often gets forgotten in the hustle of life.

Still, I must keep trying... especially as I grow older!
