As I scrolled through my KakaoTalk friends list for the first time in a while during Chuseok, I noticed that some friends had disappeared, some had grown distant, and some remained just as warm and kind as ever.
That made me realize how truly precious and lovable those steadfast friends are!
But when you think about it, we’re all living with a bit of loneliness — quietly waiting for someone to reach out first.
And as the years go by, I’ve come to realize that many friends I haven’t heard from in a while are actually struggling with health issues.
Who will be the ones to walk shoulder to shoulder with me until the very end of life?
I should start by being a friend who remains precious to them!
