Suggestion!

😊  A Small Suggestion Regarding Yesterday’s Presentation

Dear all,

I'd like to offer a small suggestion following my presentation on smoking yesterday.

While I was presenting after being called on, I noticed that some groups continued to engage in quiet conversation for a while.
As the presenter, I felt unsure whether to continue or pause, and even after I briefly stopped, the chatter persisted.
Eventually, I had to raise my voice in order to proceed.

If you plan to have informal discussions during my presentation in the future, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know in advance. I’d be more than happy to share my time with you if needed — just a little notice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I believe that separating casual conversation and formal presentation time would help maintain clarity and respect for both.
